We are not currently hiring for this position! The Studio Manager Extraordinaire is the leader of our staff. This front of house receptionist position maintains a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the studio every day for our clients and practitioners. The ideal candidate will be punctual, open minded, caring and responsible.
A positive, open minded, caring attitude as the daily leader of the team at the studio.
The ideal client should be a problem solver, self-starter, goal-oriented, punctual, highly organized, able to comply with confidentiality restrictions, able to prioritize tasks and possess fabulous communication skills.
Minimum 2 years office management/reception/customer service experience, and an interest in bodywork, natural healing and holistic care.
Proficiency with word processing in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Knowledge of the following is a MAJOR bonus, but not required:
Apple computers and Apple software
Zoom online meetings
Knowledge of bookkeeping and QuickBooks
Tasks and responsibilities include:
Most hours will require working at the front desk. The manager will handle all aspects of client correspondence, scheduling and customer service.
Oversee all staff including receptionists and contracted practitioners, reconciling issues and reporting to owner as needed.
Being knowledgeable on all policies and procedures put forth in the studio procedures. Updating and/or writing new procedures/instructions as needed.
Training new employees and practitioners on procedures, instructions, reception duties and software.
Maintaining and updating studio documents, forms, signs, charts.
Retail product/supply inventory and ordering.
Updating schedules in booking software, appointment book and office calendars.
Organize studio meetings, co-present in meetings.
Creating and posting content across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, blog and website).
Preparing sales reports and makes deposits at the bank.
