Orthobionomy is a gentle, non-invasive, osteopathically-based form of body therapy which is highly effective in working with chronic stress, injuries and pains or problems associated with postural and structural imbalances. The orthobionomy practitioner uses gentle movements and positions of the body to facilitate the change of stress and pain patterns that the client is holding. Orthobionomy practitioners require many many hours of in classroom and hands-on training to complete a certification. Massage therapists can choose to complete orthorbionomy classes in continuing education classes required for their state licensure and incorporate techniques in to their massage sessions.
